Hi! How are you? hey, what a great after-thanksgiving feast!
If you're wondering what I'm talking about, I'm talking about the thing I'm thankful for...leftovers!
Leftovers are really great
Just the prospect of eating all this good food again the next day is the very thing that makes Thanksgiving's Friday so worthwhile.
It is truly gratifying to know there's another day of Grandma's famous gravy (and another pepto-bismo to go with it)
And the greatest thing about leftovers is: you can play with the food
You can saute the potatoes of deep-fry the cranberry sauce
Because nobody cares!
You can put as much margerine on the stuffing you want; "Ah, who cares? They're just leftovers. We don't care."
So preheat that turky
Re-microwave that gravy
And let's all pig out on great, traditional, classically improvised food a second time!
